Summary:

The BIM / CAD Technician will support the Real Estate and Facilities team by managing facility/construction related 3D models and 2D drawings within the company’s records management system. This individual will help collect engineering documentation from various facility/construction projects, ensure that all information and models/drawings are accurate and up to date, provide the necessary drawing information to facilitate new projects, repair efforts, maintenance activities, and support internal and external audits, in an FDA regulated environment The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, customer/team focused, and will have extensive experience working with BIM / CAD software tools.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Use AutoCAD and Revit to update 2D drawings and 3D models within Seagen’s Autodesk Docs environment, as directed by Engineering
  • Support Project Management, Facility Management, and Manufacturing Site Teams by sharing drawing information, auditing their deliverables. Ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and properly stored within the system throughout the project lifecycle
  • Confirm drawing information or gather new data by walking down systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.), redlining and updating drawing records
  • Partner with contractors to ensure the information/deliverables provided match Seagen standards. Provide on-site support to contractors as needed
  • Partner with Seagen IT and Autodesk technical support for any technical software issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field, OR 8+ years direct industry experience
  • Proficient with Autodesk products including; Docs, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Proficient with standard Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience authoring or revising Operating Procedures and Internal Standards
  • Good organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Attentive and approachable. Able to navigate a dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a large matrix organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in GMP biotech/pharmaceutical environment
  • Autodesk Certified (AutoCAD or Revit)

The hiring pay range for this position is $71,000 - $92,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
