Summary

Seagen is currently launching its first product in Europe in the therapeutic area of HER2+ metastatic breast cancer. The Product Manager, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is based at the Seagen DACH headquarter in Munich.

The DACH team is looking for an enthusiastic, twenty-first century marketeer with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for action to join our company as a Product Manager. The incumbent will further develop and execute the local marketing strategy for treatments pre- and post-launch with a strong focus on multi-channel marketing and innovative ways of working.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to do biotech marketing in the broadest sense, with plenty of opportunities to deliver innovative, high-impact projects, break industry habits, engage with customers and colleagues (across Europe) and ultimately have an impact on the lives of people with cancer. The (Senior) Brand Manager will report to the Director Marketing DACH.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Own the breast cancer brand in DACH, responsible for differentiating the treatment in the near term
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for upcoming launches and indication extensions in the haemato-oncology market as well as for competition management in close collaboration with the local cross-functional team, the European marketing & operations teams
  • Contribute to cross-functional creation of DACH brand plan and tactics in alignment with European and international brand plans, including digital tactics
  • Develop and implement DACH communication plan in close collaboration with all relevant functions
  • Develop, create, and align stakeholder-specific messaging, promotional tools/materials for field-force and general business use together with all relevant functions
  • In close collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Operation and Business Analytics etc.) generate relevant market insights (Market Research, Commercial advisory boards etc.) that help to understand market dynamics and assess impact of implemented plans
  • Responsible for symposium & congress planning TUKYSA together with medical advisor’s and office manager’s support to present T and Seagen Organize regular training and updates together with medical and sales functions for Senior Oncology Account Managers (SOAMs)
  • Project management (contracts, invoicing, communication) for commercial activities and projects together with office manager’s support
  • Achievement of regional commercial goals and defined performance parameters
  • Brand budget planning and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance across all areas to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with Seagen values

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, of which at least two years in Germany.
  • Prior experience in a field-based role within a pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful digital and multi-channel tactics.
  • Oncology/hematology experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and nurses.
  • Experience with the management of external service providers (event, creative, market research, and competitive intelligence agencies, etc.).
  • Results focused with excellent project management skills in cross-functional setting.
  • Fluent in German and English are “must haves”. Additional languages as French and Italian would be beneficial.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Thorough understanding of local compliance, as well as a sound ethical approach to business.

Education:

  • University undergraduate degree in science or business as a minimum; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous
